Mymensingh hospitality, plated with care
Saffron began with a simple idea: that this city deserved a dining room as generous as its people. Two decades of Mymensingh appetites later, we are still cooking to that brief.
Our kitchens run in parallel — a tandoor and curry line drawing on Bangladeshi and North Indian tradition, a wok station turning out the Chinese dishes this city has loved for a generation, and a grill for everything in between. Everything is halal, everything is cooked to order.
The building gives us room to be more than one restaurant. The ground floor keeps the pace of Notun Bazar — quick lunches, coffee, takeaway collected on the way home. Upstairs the mood changes: a family zone with screened seating, private cabins for quieter conversations, and a banquet floor that has hosted more engagements, akhds and birthdays than we can count.
We open at eight for breakfast and we do not stop until eleven at night. Whether that means a single cup of tea or a table of eighteen, you are welcome for as long as you would like to stay.
